Bone-dry is the standard: 2-ply nylon-reinforced PVC, every seam heat-taped, 20,000 mm hydrostatic head. They weigh about 35% less than rubber waders, the knees are doubled against rocks and branches, and the cleated PVC boots hold on slick riverbeds.
