Small mighty magnets

Small, mighty magnets that work very well effectively. I use them mostly to weigh down my husband’s nebulizer cup while soaking it clean. Also works well with sous vide.

Too strong for their small size

Before ordering these magnets I was concerned whether the would be powerful enough. That was not a problem. They are very powerful. The problem is that they are quite small, and if you have big fingers like I do, it can be difficult to find the leverage to pull them apart. For me they would be 2 or 3 stars, but I gave it 4 because they might work very well if you have small (but strong) fingers.

Impressive strength

Wow! I’m surprised that magnets this small can be so strong. I tested one pair of magnets with a rigid plastic barrier in between which was at least 1/16th of an inch thick. I pulled one magnet away and the other one didn’t let go until they were at least two inches apart. They pull or push each other from inches away. If you’re not careful when handling them all twelve of them will quickly stack together. Before I received them I was just hoping that I could stack enough of them together to hold strongly enough. But now I know I only need one pair for my purposes. Very nice.

Powerful magnets.

I recently started using sous vide, and I find these magnets work better than weights to keep the bags under the water. They are very powerful magnets. They actually take a lot of force to get them apart from each other, which is a good thing. I sometime use a large Ninja Foodi Neverstick pot to do my sous vide. These are strong enough to work through the aluminum wall of the pot. You place one on the outside of the pot, and the other one against the bag on the wall of the pot. Highly recommended.

These magnets are a must have when. Keeps your cooking bags in the correct place so that the warm water surrounds the food.

Great kitchen magnets

The sous vide magnets are great. They are very strong. I used them right after receiving on a bag of ground beef I was defrosting. They worked exactly as I hoped. They are strong and the silicone protected the pan. No more trying to clip silverware to the bag to weigh it down in the water. The plastic storage case arrived broken from shipping. I reached out and the company responded quickly and offered to send a replacement case. Great customer service and a great product. I definitely recommend and wish I had bought sooner!
