I've found these to be a terrific product. Easy enough to clean, the pump hasn't failed me yet, sized I can fit what I need to into the bags and clip them to a mug or glass to keep the vent out of the water. Compatible with beef? I've reused one 3 times so far and can probably keep on going, so they perform well and are saving me money. Great little starter kit.

Strong re-usable bags for sous vide cooking and storing food
These bags are strong plastic and will be able to be re-used multiple times. They seal good and hold the seal with no leakage. Good value for the money. The instructions were very good. I had a little bit of trouble getting the air out of the bag at first. You have to pump a few times to get the air valve open, once it’s open the air pumps out easily and quickly with the hand pump. These bags are not for microwave use.

So far so good
I got tired of wasting $ on chips, crackers, etc that go stale a couple of days after opening the package. I was going to buy a vacuum sealer machine but then saw this. I tried it out on freeze dried apple chips. The rechargeable handheld vacuum was easy to use and did the job just fine, and the bags hold their seal well enough for my purposes. For the price, even if the pump gives out it's easy enough to buy a manual pump.
